Join the Scottish Rite, Orient of New Mexico, on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 when we will host a dinner and celebration of Robert Burns Night. This event is sponsored by the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple Historical Preservation Foundation.

Tours of the Scottish Rite Temple begin at 4 o’clock, the cash bar opens at 4:30, the Belisama dancers and the Order of the Thistle Pipes and Drums begin at 5:30, and dinner service starts at 7 o’clock. The cost per meal is $75, and $150 per couple.

The dinner service for Robert Burns Night is as follows:

• Appetizer—Scottish sausage

• Dinner—rolls and butter, mince and mashed potatoes, Burns grilled chicken topped with capers, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, and finished with an Irish whiskey sauce, Scottish roasted potatoes (gluten free without the sauce), and peas

• or a vegetarian selection of a veggies stacker

• Desserts—fruit trifle

This year’s Robert Burns Night will be open to everyone, including all Scottish Rite Masons and lovers of Robert Burns poetry and Scottish cuisine, in general.
