Join the Scottish Rite, Orient of New Mexico, on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 when we will host a dinner and celebration of Robert Burns Night. This event is sponsored by the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple Historical Preservation Foundation and is a fundraiser for the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple. The cash bar opens at 5 o’clock and dinner begins at 6 o’clock. The cost per meal is $190, total ($185 for the cost of the meal, plus a $5 convenience fee). Proceeds go to accessibility improvements to the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple to make the Temple a more welcoming environment for all of our guests.

This year’s Robert Burns Night will be open to everyone, including all Scottish Rite Masons and lovers of Robert Burns poetry and Scottish cuisine, in general.

The annual Robert Burns Night will take place on Saturday, January 21st, with the cash bar opening at 5 o’clock pm and dinner beginning at 6 o'clock pm.

The choices for a dinner entrée are either:

• sliced roast beef with Yorkshire pudding

• salmon en croûte with a raspberry sauce

• or a grilled portobello mushroom with pesto croutons

All dinner entrées will be served with Scottish roasted potatoes and peas. The dinner’s appetizer is “bangers” served with a country mustard sauce and, following dinner, dessert is a fruit trifle.

Our Robert Burns Night caterer needs time to prepare for dinner on January 21st and Friday, January 13th is the deadline for reserving a space.
